We’re the original owners of the condo. Our family has been going to Maui since 1974 and we enjoy renting to trustworthy people who want a real home away from home during their vacation on beautiful Maui. Most of our guests return year after year to unit #107.
We rent our condo out about 9 months out of the year. What is special about #107 and why do we love it so? A few reasons:
- It’s directly across the street from Kamaole Beach III in Kihei
- It’s ground level, right in front of the pool
- In 2006 we completely renovated the entire condo
- It’s comfortable, centrally located, well-stocked and loved by everyone who visits (check out the floor plan)
Kamole Beach III is beautiful and has great snorkeling — all right across the street from your front lanai.
The recent renovation took about 6 months from start to finish in 2006 and involved stripping the condo down to the studs. A new kitchen, new bathrooms, new lanai and all the amenities you’d expect have been added to this wonderful place. We think you’ll really dig it. But the pictures tell the story.
When you stay on the ground level you get the benefit of being able to walk in and out of the front lanai without having to take stairs or the elevator to the upper floors. You get to know your neighbors during your stay and it’s perfect for kids. We’ve been doing this for 30 years and can say that the ground floor is where it’s at!
We rent to people for no less than 7 days and we really prefer people who stay 2 to 8 weeks (or longer) and take care of things as if it’s their own home. We’ve had really great luck with wonderful repeat long-term guests and hope to continue building a community of unit #107 guests. After all, it’s you folks that keep an eye on things … and we’re happy to share our condo with those who love it as much as we do!

The rate is $160/night (taxes included) plus a $90 cleaning fee for a maid to come in after your stay in make sure things are in order for the next guest. We ask for a 50% deposit with a 60 day cancellation notice and $200 refundable damage deposit. If you stay over 10 days we lower the rate. Unrenovated units in the building rent for $190/night + taxes (that’s about $215/night) through an agency, so this is a great deal.
