FAQ
How far from the beach is the condo?
Kama’ole Beach III is directly across the street from the condo. It takes about 1 minute to get there by foot.
Do you hear traffic from the street?
The building is definitely along S. Kihei Beach Road which now has traffic. The road has one lane of traffic going each way, but it can get congested at peak hours (morning and evening). Traffic dies down at night. Our unit 107 probably gets the least noise as it’s buffered by the pool and it’s on the ground floor.
How many people does the condo sleep?
If there’s a couple then it sleeps 4 people comfortably. Two in the master bedroom and two in the guest bedroom. However, if you have, say, 3 kids you can put one of them on a fold-out mattress in the living room. We have one a small fold-out foam mattress that can be laid between the two twin beds or in the living room.
Do you allow smoking?
Nope.
Do you allow smoking on the lanai?
Nope.
Do you allow kids?
Heck yeah! We love kids.
Do you allow pets?
Nope.
What are your favorite restaraunts?
Alexander’s for fish ‘n chips. Kihei Caffe is an excellent breakfast spot with outdoor seating and is famous for their cinnamon rolls. Grandma’s is my favorite trip for a coffee and breakfast or lunch. It’s worth the drive. If you’re looking for an organic grocery store, check out Hawaiian Moons Natural Foods. There are plenty of other amazing restaurants that are listed in the book Maui Revealed (usually on the coffee table at the condo).
