User’s Manual for Unit 107
A few things that should make your stay more enjoyable at Maui Parkshore unit #107:
- There are great online references for Kihei and Maui on 43 Places — you can add content to the site as you learn about the area (it’s free, user-generated content)
- A “must have” tour book is called Maui Revealed. The latest copy is usually on the coffee table in the condo, but you can always get a copy on the island.
- Here’s a location map of the Maui Parkshore.
- Be sure to turn the fan and light switches completely
off in the down position when not in use — you’ll feel the sliders click when they’re completely off. This is somewhat important.
- The outlets in the living room and bedrooms are hooked up to the light switches. If the lamps are on you can switch them on/off with these wall switches. Also, if you’ve got something plugged into the wall in these rooms and you’re not getting power — just flip the wall switch and it will turn on the outlet.
- Try not to leave any open food or crumbs on the counters, floors or in the cupboards. That will immediately attract ants and bugs into the condo. Nothing too serious, but if you wipe up the counters after every meal and take the kitchen garbage out daily you’ll never have a problem with little critters.
- Acidic juices (e.g. fresh pineapple) should be wiped off the granite island counter — pineapple acid can crack granite over time.
Please use cutting boards when using knives. This will help preserver the finish on our new countertops. We really appreciate it.
- Go to the beach. A lot.
- If you see anything that needs fixing, please let us know by emailing Greg. You can also call 206-842-2111 in an emergency.
Leave us comments on the blog after your trip. Tell us and other guests about your favorite beaches, restaurants or Maui adventures. We love hearing from you!
